R3trans permission denied

Hi,

Im Installing SAP R/3 4.6B and when it comes to the DBDBSLTESTCONNECT_IND_ORA stage, it gives me an error. I checked R3trans and it turns out it is a "permission denied" error for the ora<SID> user.

I went to svrmgrl and connected manually using username sapr3 and pass sap it connected. I dont know how to fix this issue. Can someone please help me?

Hi Seelan Rajagopal,

Please give administrator rights to below folers and run it will solve you problem.

Foler name

/usr

/usr/sap

/usr/sap/sid

Check the file permissions to sapmnt folder and assign the required, it will connect.
