Unable to find the JAVA Instance

Hi All,

I am new to SDN, i got one problem with my Solution manager + Java system.

My SM is working fine and i am unable to find the JAVA instance in my system, can some one please help me, since i need to upgrade my JAVA instance.

Thanks for the quick reply,

When i am upgrading my JAVA instance i am getting for following error

om.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.ConfigurationException: Error

while connecting to DB.

Caused by: com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException: Could not load class com.

sap.nwmss.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver.

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sap.nwmss.jdbc.

Refer to the SAP notes 872060 and 639702. Check whether the settings for the JDBC driver are correct?

Hi James,

Looks like the problem with the .jar files, since some of the Jar files are missing.

check whether you have all the driver files in

your system. The driver files are: base.jar, util.jar, sqlserver.jar and spy.jar.

The files are usually located in:

usr\sap\<SAPSID>\JC<InstanceNumber>\j2ee\jdbc

Please, check the note 639702 for further details.

sqlserver.jar file was missing. After restarting my system Java is starting automatically.
