new item category need to be created

Hi,

i am in need of a new item category. the item PR should create automatically when a order is created and it should come in to stock instead of consuming directly against production order when i make a GR for that purchase order.

Is there any possiblility is there to create the new item category with this features.

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

I am need of generating a PR when i create a production order with respect ot a sales order.the procured item should not get consumed against that production order when i make a GR for the procured item with respect to a purchase order.I t should come in the stock and then it has to be issued to the production order.

that means it should have item category L and N in common

Can you be more specific. Do you want to create PR as soon as a sales order is created.

Now clear on the consumption part
