Operation Confirmation in old dates

Hi

The period has been closed & new has ben open (tcode MMPV). Lets say the current period is May08(in Sap 02/2008).

But when I am trying to confirm production order operation in old dates say Feb08, system still allowing. I want to stop such confirmation. Can any body guide?

Pls note that this is to stop operation confirmation & not related to GI/GR.

    Hi,

You have closed the MM periods only from MMPV. You need to close the FI postings periods also. If these are open then goods posting will be allowed. For this you need to take help from FI.
