    Hi David,

The Cluster ID Mismatch error is related to differences between the

SBO-COMMON database and the customer's database. The issue is

reproducible only if someone restores an different version of SBO-COMMON

or customer's database to database environment.

Please run the upgrader Common installation again. And ensure the versions are compartible.

As you can see, this error is related to database administration layer.

If you would like to ensure it does not happen again, then you must

manage the database administrator's accounts and check their work with

    the DB environment.

    Hope this is helpful,

    Willy

    Hi,

This error is probably caused by B1 version difference, for example your current SBO i.e. 2004A is trying to open SBO 2005A database. So, you upgrade the version of your B1.

If you have different patch level, there is no error message "cluster ID mismatch". The usual error message is "database is not upgraded..."

    Dear All,

FYI i was only trying to install SAP client to a new computer, and using the same version as on the server, and we didn't change anything on the database server. after the installation failed we cannot login to database with "cluster id mismatch" error, and the user that who was still login cannot save anything. what do you propose for the solution?

    Regards,

    David

    Hello David,

Can you please reinstall the client from the B1_SHARE folder in the server, you can see there is a file save

the parameter named <params.ini>, please ensure the server setting point to the correct server.

please kindly have a try and feedback us.
