Hi,

i) This will be really a wise decision to take WM certification.

ii) As an initial step along with your technical design documents try to collect the functional specifications of all the projects you have done and go through them with the help of your functional consultant.

iii) Now go through the certification courses given by SAP.

[SAP Consultant Certification Solution Consultant SCM u2013 WM & LE with mySAP ERP 2005|http://www12.sap.com/usa/services/education/certification/certificationtest.epx?context=FFC760B8923D16BB5150DAE63E7C1A6B331AF0B9E3A8F73CE3A9B7046E051044503600C911DBA13DCE978D3AC9057626D2B68111A7CD2D707E2EEC31213097E46EB790DD0106435EE0756F7B22F3FA4B4FF0645C06954BF39AD9826DEEE08116%7c0F4CA46A780775F7597E648C8EDA37EFDB85041287511F48]

Hey,

This is good.. if one can become techno functional consultant.. yaa for long run this should be good for you to become WM consultant..since you have ABAP knowledge and this will help you in future where lots of Enhancement and Interface work required in projects..

My advice to you are as below

1) First try understand std. WM processes and the full SCM cycle just visit any warehouse or big Supermarket and just try to under stand how people works in WM and how goods movements take place in WM

2) Once you understand the functional process then read the link below http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/c6/f85c504afa11d182b90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm

and try to relate things with what you have seen in WM. read this link at least 4 to 5 times.

3) Try to run all the transactions cycle of WM in SAP understand all the functions very well.

4) Go thru with IMG setting at least 10 times and again read the above link...

After this exersise which will take minimum 5-6 months then you can say that you have become WM consultant now this would be time to find any project where you can start work ....

if you have any clarifications then join SAP WM and MM community on orkut.com and ask questions I will try to address...
