Hi All

I have good experience in EC-CS Module with Multiple Assignments.

Need a Clarification from SEM-BCS side that We really need to load Traction Currency while Loading/Extracting Data from Flat Files/ ECC6.0 to SEM-BCS ?

" If TC(Transaction Currency) not loaded in to BCS? Is there any Issues during Elimination Process?"

Cause *BCS Elimination Method has KEY FIGURE/ATTRIBUTE*: Transaction Currency / Group Currency

Really Appreciated Your Feed back and Help

Thx

Ramana

You may or may not use transaction currency. Eliminations may take place either in TC (with recalculating to GC) or GC.

Sometimes using of TC is preferrable because you eliminate exact figures mentioned in the contract, i.e. in transaction currency, not data after currency translation that in some cases may differ for ConsUnits and ConsUnits-partners.

When using TC the BCS system can do a splitting of differences which means that the system posts currency translation based and other differences.

Transaction currency is not necessary as long as translation to group currency occurs before eliminations.

Elimination are only posted in group currency, same as with ECCS.
