credit limit

I have a scenario where the client wants us to maintain ' 1/-' as credit limit for every customer.

when the system does not process the document further, then he would tell the end users as to what is the credit limit to be maintained for this customer, theywill then maintain it and then release.

What should be done in such scenario....

This can happen or this scenario seems absurd...

Any suggestions...any solutions are happily accepted and rewarded.

Hi,

I do not understand the purpose of this scenario. I say this because the docs blocked for credit check can alwys be released for further processing, using tcodes like vkm1/2/3, irrespective of the credit limit. So the Re 1 limit is basically to restrict a delivery from being created for the first time a customer order is made, which can easily be maintained using a separate doc type and assiging a delivery block.

Now this credit block can be used as an opportunity to determine the credit limit for a customer the first time he places an order. For example the first time the customer places an order of Rs 100 and the organisation decides to give a credit limit of Rs 150. To me this is as gud as allocating a credit limit of Rs 150 when the customer master is created using tcode FD32. Moreover the Rs 1 scheme will only cause problems as the open docs will always reduce the available credit limit.

Hi sapsdsd

First of all Check who all customers are falling under a particular credit control area. Now maintain Rs.1/- in that credit control area and do not maintain FD32 for the customers (till sales order is created )

Assign credit control area in XD02->sales area data->billing tab

Do necessary configurations in the credit management

So once you ,create sales order and if it exceeds Rs.1/- then it will throw an error.,warning or information message

Then you maintain FD32 for that customers by giving necessary credit limit amount

Hi,

If your client wants to maintain Rs.1 as credit limit for every customer, when creating the Credit control area in FI(T.code OB45) there is a option of credit limit to be entered. There you can enter Re.1.

When you create a customer for credit management purposes in FD32,the Re.1 will get defaulted for all the customers who are created under this CC area.

Hope its clear.

Dear

You can maintain the credit limit in FD32 in advance value as per party limit.

Dear friend,

First create the credit limit in FI side, they can a credit limit for all the customers, Then when ever the customer tell about the credit limit to the enduser they can go to FD32 and fix the credit limit accordingly.
