Packing and weight

Hello,

I´m working on packing configuration and made the packing properly. But I also noticed that, when I pack a given material during the delivery, the weight of the packagings do not sum with the weight of the goods. Is there anyway to configure this? I mean, shouldn´t the weights be summed in this case?

Hi

Lupatech.

Please go to material master basic data in Dimensions, enter the gross wt of material( material wt + packing wt.) and in net wt column enter the actual weight of material. Also enter the details same way in general plant data/ storage ---weight / volume.

The weight of packing material must be have same weight always.

But for purpose of billing / invoicing the packing wt will not be calculated NORMALLY.

This way you will include the packing weight.
