Asking Password Every Time

Hi All,

While working with the SPROXY in Application System,

it is asking the Password Every time like when ever expand the SWCV or Namespace or MI also

What could be the reason

Hi Suman

The reason is because the user-id password specified in the Http destination used to connect to Xi server is locked. So every time your application tries to connect to the XI system it seeks for password.

Hi,

In this RFC Destination i have given my user ID which is present in XI & having the all Authorizations

But my ID is not Locked in XI, i have checked it in SU01 of XI side

When ever it is asking the User & Pwd, iam giving my user & pwd going inside.

I have found that PIAPPLUSER in XI is Locked, This may be cause for this.

I have Unlocked it

But really i didnt used this User for this RFC Destination creation.

Then why it is Locked

How can we know that Because of which Application Execution this PIAPPLUSER is frequently locking

Iam sure that my RFC Destination is not using the PIAPPLUSER, then how to know that which application is causing for this Locking

HI Suman,

It seems that unlocking the PIAPPLUSER user id have sloved your problem.

Whenever the Pop-up will raise for User ID and Passwork it is due to the lock.

This could happen due to upgradation in any of the sender or receiver or XI systems or uploading the patches may lead to inconsistancy in the User Id and password. In these circumstances if you execute the scenario then after trying for 3 times the User ID will be locked.

Thats exactly correct,

When ever it is promting for the user & pwd in SPROXY transaction, then after if i give my user & pwd--- immediatly PIAPPLUSER is getting locked in XI

Then what to do for this, How can i overcome this problem

Suman,

Whenever there will be anykind of upgrades or patch uploads, then you just need to regulary verify the consistnacy of the User Id that is used.

Else have to wait for the failures and then resolve it....
