PO idoc is failed with status 29

Hi,

When i create the PO, the output is green. The idoc is failed with status 29. Port number is missing.

Please help to resolve this issue.

Hi,

You need to take a quick overview regarding the steps of configuration to make sure it is everything configured properly, one example of those required steps l showed bellow to guide you in a better way possible.

Partner Function steps for configurations:

1. T-code NACE (Output Control)
2. Choose the Application Type.
3. Click on "Output types"
4. Select required output type entry.
5. Double click on "Partner Functions".
6. Go to change mode and click "New Entry" button

7. Make a new entry with following values:

• Medium: EDI
• Function: as per your requirement

8. Press enter. Name will appear automatically.

9. Back. You need to maintain two partner profiles:

• Sender
• Receiver

Go to Tcode: WE20

1. Now configuring Sender Partner Profile:

1. Under "Partner Profile", you will find different partner types.
2. Expand required partner type.
3. Click on Sender's Partner Number Eg. TEMCLNT100
4. Go to CHANGE MODE.
5. In Outbound Parameters table, click on NEW ENTRY.
6. In "Outbound Option" tab Enter Message Type.
7. Enter Receiver Port.
8. Output mode: Transfer IDoc Immed.
9. Enter Basic Type.
10. In "Message Control" tab make a new entry.
11. Enter Application, Message Type and Process Code
12. Keep checkbox unchecked.
13. Go back and Save.

2. Expand required partner type.
3. Click on Receiver's Partner Number.
4. Go to CHANGE MODE.
5. In Inbound Parameters table, click to add NEW ENTRY.
6. Enter Message Type.
7. Enter Process Code
8. Back and Save.

Status 29 relates to Partner Profile settings. So check whether you have made all the required Partner Profile settings.
