Ticket Item Processing Codes in C4C - ECC integration

Former Member

Dear team,

We are currently implementing C4C (Service) - ECC integration with SAP Cloud Platform Integration. (formerly know as HCI)

Our point of interest is on the transactional part of the integration, the ticket integration

In the activity list ticket for customer support we are able to setup Item Processing Codes to assign in various items inside the Ticket.

I would like your help to understand how does that work with the integration of tickets to ECC as follow up document in order to trigger various events in ECC?

For example the processing code "SRCM" when assigned on an item in the ticket, is it triggering a specific follow up document in ECC?

Is there other configuration that must be done in order to setup specific item processing codes to specific events in ECC? Or is it mapped by default in the 2 systems.

Is this configurable in code list mapping?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Best Regards,

Dimitris Doulamis

Hi Dimtiris,
Please check section '10: Work Ticket Integration with SAP ERP' (page 63 onwards) in the below document. This should answer your queries.

Hello Shivanand,

Thank you very much for your answer.

Further to the links and documents provided above, i was searching for more information on the below link but cannot find something relevant to the transactional work ticket integration. SAP Help Integration with SAP ERP

Am i missing something here or SAP Help is not yet updated with the latest guides for ticket integration. There seems to be a gap in the documents for the below transactional scenario.

Dear Dimitris,

Yes in standard there are pre-defined ItemTypes and pre-defined corresponding documents to be created in ERP.

Kindly refer this Document, this is an old document however gives an idea what documents are created in ERP.

However if you intend to customize this behavior and would like to different documents created in ERP then kindly refer this Blog.
