Update of Batch Characteristics as blank or zero from Inspection Characteristics

Hi All,

I'm facing an issue with updating blank value for a MIC characteristic value updated via QE01 but not been reflected in MSC3N for the same material batch combination.

I'm trying to update MIC characteristic value going through QE01 by setting it as blank and accepting the values. Afterwards, I check the same MIC characteristic value by going through MSC3N for that material, batch combination. I do not see the MIC characteristic updated with blank value.

However, when try to change the characteristic value with a non-blank value, it gets updated and I can see the results via MSC3N.

Can you please let me know the reason behind this behavior and if there any solution so that the blank characteristic value updated via QE01 starts reflecting in MSC3N as well.
