Authorization Definition for Hierarchies / RSSM / RSSAUTHHIER

Hi guys,

I'm facing a strange problem with hierarchy authorizations in BI 7.0:

When creating hierarchy authorizations in RSSM in BW 3.x everything was fine and working well. After the release upgrade, we were not able to create new authorizations for hierarchies using the same procedure as before. A deeper analysis showed the error. The data ist stored in table RSSAUTHHIER. For the hierarchy authorizations created after upgrading, the field NIOBJNM was emtpy. Thats fine for leafs in a hierarchy, but not for nodes, which should contain 0HIER_NODE as value. After putting this value properly, the authorizations were ok.

Currently, we cannot migrate our authorizations to the new BI 7.0 concept, so that we need to stick with the old one. Is there a way to have RSSM fixed, to work as before? Or do I need to write a some code for that?

I checked OSS, SDN already, only clue ist to migrate authorization 😊 that's SAP 😊

Anybody with the some issue out there? Or even with a fix?

Have fun,

Leo
