Hello

Issue description:

Scenario 1: user default language is "NL" (set from ECC system). User clicks on UWL list, popup window opens up with the task details. User perform action (like, hold, reject or approve). Once button is clicked, popup window is closed automatically. This is as expected behaviour

Scenario 2:

Same user default language is now changed to "EN" (set from ECC system). User clicks on UWL list, popup window opens up with the task details. User perform action (like, hold, reject or approve). Once button is clicked, popup window does NOT closed automatically. Instead, popup window becomes blank.

This is the issue. Could you please suggest what could be an issue here.

Hello, Just before we close this want to update that this issue was resolved by updating all the components to their latest versions. This was part of recommendation from SAP as standard practice.

Regards, Chander

Hello Chander

This is not a known problem or something which is common to see.

I would recommend that you try the following:

1 - Try to reset the UWL personalization of one user having EN language at ECC side.

Proceed with the cleanup of any personalization that the user might have, and check if the issue still occurs.

In order to clean the personalization of a user:

Choose System Administration > System Configuration > Universal Worklist & Workflow > Universal Worklist - Administration.

In the Universal Worklist Content Configuration section choose Click to Manage Item Types and View Definitions.

Choose the Reset Personalizations tab. Enter the user ID of the user whose personalized views you need to delete.

Choose Show Views.

All personalized views of the user are listed. To delete the personalized views choose Remove Personalizations.

2 - If the problem persists, proceed with clearing the UWL cache and check to see if this resolves the problem.

Check following KBA on the steps to clear the cache:
