FM version issue

Hi,

When I am calling the fm in a program with parameter which is not defined in FM in SAP ver 4.6 C its not giving any dump, but the same thing when I call in ECC 6 its giving error message that field is not defined.

could any one tell me the reason behind the above senario.

Hi,

Error in Export and Import parameters were handled during the runtime in 4.6c version. This ultimately goes to short dump...

This was corrected as compiler ERROR msg in ecc version..in order to avoid the runtime errors.

Please consult with FI consultant he will configure the FM or activate it.
