Dear All,
Here at our client we have uploaded the balances in RG23 part II and PLA registers during gone live.We have taken the print outs of the registers for the subsequent month.The opening balances were coming there.After that also for next two month the data was correct.Now today we checked the register there for reconcillation it is having the difference.On checking we found that the difference is equal to opening balance.then we check the opening balances in the table,the balances are not there.
Please guide me why would have happened to this balances and how to rectify this.
Please give the input urgent because we have audit of the excise .
