Hi Experts,
Is it possible to find out whether a system has the character code for example the trademark symbol in its code page.Is there a report where we can see a trademark character being displayed (be it any report for that matter). We have ECC 6.0 unicode system so do we have the charcter code for the trademark symbol. How do we find it.Please help me out.

Max

Hi Juan,
Thanks for your reply. This is indeed a good link.
Actually I have a problem printing the trade mark character. When I print the screen from SCP transaction having the trademark symbol I get a # in place of the trademark symbol. Now since the trademark character gets displayed properly this means that the unicode scalar value which in this case is U+2122 exists. What could be the issue in printing then.
Any idea?
Please let me know if possible.

Max
go to SPAD -> double click on the printer you're using -> click Goto -> Device type -> Utilities -> for character set _> Output charcter set and check if the trademark character is supported..
Also check that the printer driver is the correct one for your output device, sometimes the use of emulators or similar device types are used for output devices and this kind of problems show up.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Juan
