No more storage space available for extending an internal table

Hi everybody,

I'm in a project using Business Objects XI release 3 and SAP BI 7, the connection schema is a universe mapped to a SAP BI query, using this query as the source database.

When running some simple queries in BO the following errors showed up:

u201CA database error occurred: The database error text is: Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. No more storage space available for extending an internal table.. (WIS 10901)u201D

Running the same query in BEx gave us the same error description:

u201CNo more storage space available for extending and internal tableu201D

The cube involved is a multi provider with approximately 60.000 rows.

Is this a BW issue or BO?

The query is not really big -as far as me know for some SAP BI / BO demos we saw-

Actions taken up to now:

- Additional Java transports checked for BO XI release 3.

- We check the BW query design and everything was as recommended: all attributes as free characteristics and result rows suppressed.

- SAP BI user permissions checked (user who connects to BO with BW query)

- We created a 3.x query and did the same test (BO universe aiming 3.x query). The same error showed up.

Some documentation found talks about reducing the size of the query or u201Cincrease the roll area memoryu201D, but using the query as the universe source doesn't allow us to eliminate many objects.

Thanks a lot in advance.
