Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a way i can stop the order from processing once it has been referenced, say i have created a partial delivery for a sales order, want the order status to be complete and no longer able to create another delivery for that order. Is there anything like the Completion Rule in Item categories which affects quotations and contracts but not orders.
I have already indicated in the customer master max # of partial deliveries as 1.
Partial deliveries per item=[A] Create a delivery with quantity zero.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michelle.
Hi mitchelle
Maintain completion Rule B in VOV7 for the respective item category. So if you refer deliver partially also the order gets closed

did you check "Update Document Flow" in (order => delivery) Item level copy control ?

In customer master, shipping tab, against partial delivery per item select option 'create only one delivery..".
When you create a partial delivery for this customer, system would give a message saying only one delivery is allowed.
Once a delivery is created, you cannot create subsequent deliveries for this order.

Hi
Also try the possibility of using the functionality - partial deliveries in the customer master. Here you can select the value - onetime delivery, Complete delivery etc., where in the referencing can be done once and the order status is complete with that reference.
Still I doubt it will not meet your requirement. This is an option to look into.
Thanks,
Ravi
