Data not getting saved in Infocube

Hi,

we have used infocube keyfigure into planning book and which is getting populated using macro. When we are running the macro in interactive table it showing value in the keyfigure but when we save the data it is showing messege that data is written to infocube and gives last messege that data saved successfully. but when we look at the infocube there is no data for that key figure and in the interactive also it is not visible.

Please help us resolve the issue.

    Hi Harshil,

I am a little confused. You are using a BW keyfigure in planning book. You are loading vales from BW cube to Planning area for that keyfigure.

    1. Where are you making the changes to values? In the interactive planning book screen (SDP94)?

    2. Where did you get the message "Saved to infocube".

You cannot save changes in SDP94 to a BW infocube.

When the system says saved to infocube, it doesnot mean that the data is saved to the BW infocube.Your planning area is also a infocube by design. You cannot see the infocube but you can generate a export datasource for extracting data out of it.

Answer my two questions and I might be able to help you.

      Hi Vinod,

Thanks a lot for useful information. Finally we found out that infopack with RED status was causing conflict with the data display. I deleted that infopack created in past and it worked. We were able to save data.
