Hello ,

How do you assign a inspection plan to an inspection lot.

How do you know or can check how many inpection plans are assigned to the inspection lot .

Dear,

Inspection plan is assigned automatically to insp lot as per the setting in material master for that insp type.

Only one insp plan can be assigned to a lot.

You can see the insp plan assigned in task list specification tab page in QA03(insp lot display)

Which settings in the material master determine how and which inspection plan will be picked up.

Actually i want to move the quality stock to unresticted stock.

When i try to do result recording it gives me an error.

So I checked in the QA02 there in the Insp. Specifications tab when i hit the Task list button it says NO Inspection Plan found. The status CRTD,PREQ, CHCR, SPRQ. Kindly suggest a solution in detail please.This is urgent.

The plan selected is based on the task usage assigned to the inspection type in config. Find out your task usage.

Then you need to make sure you have created a plan of the same usage, same base UOM, and assigned the material/plant to the plan.

Plans are created in QP01.

Once you create the plan, go to QA02 for the inspection lot, change the key date to the current data and click on the inspec spec tab. Try to assign the plan., the go to sample tab anc click on calculate sample. Save.

In Material master, insp type detailed screen - automatic assignment controls the insp plan assignment.

For the selection of insp plan automatically you need to define the suitable task list usage for insp type in IMG i.e. in SPRO> Quality Management>Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Creation>Maintain Inspection Types

for a insp type, in insp planning sub page, task list usage is defined,

You need to maintain a insp plan in QP01 with this usage, status should be released, so that in insp lot this insp plan will be selected and the inps lot status will be REL.

Hello,

Thank you for your help. I tried doing everything u said but in qa02 my status is still showing CREATED ...which i think means that inspection plan is not assigned to the inspection lot. In QA02 in the Insp. Specification tab when i hit the tack/list button it still gives me an error saying : NO inspection Plan found ......

Kindly help this is urgent. Thank You for your time

Hi Devang,

I guess that you would have created inspection plan after the inspection lot was created. If that is the case, cancel the existing inspection lot and create it gaian.

Dear,

you have created insp plan the validity date is i think from today, but insp lot start date is may be in past, hence it is not picking the task list.

Did you create material specification in QS61...if the insp type demands(as per insp type defaults which you can see in material master), then you need to create that also. If you donu2019t want to create Material specification, then remove the tick inspection with material specification, then create correct valid insp plan, then assign the inpo plan in QA02.
