Month of release for S/4HANA in 2018

Hi,

SAP has a cycle of 11 months for release of On-premise edition for S/4HANA like 1511, 1610, 1709 . So, want to know from SAP, whether the release for 2018 will be 1808 I.E IN August ' 2018 or not. We want this information to plan better for our ongoing S/4HANA projects.

Yes next release will be there - i mean this year S/4HANA version release. it was expected in the month of septermber, 2018. might be 1809.

Hi,

I know , it will be either 1808 or 1809. Ideally , it shall be 1808 following 11 month cycle for OP like 1511, 1610, 1709.

Let someone from SAP confirm this.

Please note: Even SAP product owner/employee would not give more specific answer as we still have 9 months to cross. SAP will be give you the estimated timings which is mentioned in the link.

In the month of June or July SAP would be sure (that too 95%) about the release.

Next date for SAP S/4HANA 1809 (September 2018) SPS 00 New release including new technology stack.
