default printer settings in SAP

Hi all,

In Vl03n, i am going to outbound delivery -> issue delivery output . Then i am selecting one output type( let say zp01).

Then i am giving print for this delivery order.

I am changing the printer name in the print option but the print

is not going to the said printer but it's going to a default printer always.

so, in SAP, how & where they configured default printer?

points will be awarded.

Hi,

When you print, change the printer option to "LOCL" which indicates local printer

Thanks.Always it's going to local printer( ptr01).i changed the printer name(let say ptr02) in printer option but still it's going to ptr01 which is my local printer.

so, i think , there is some default configuration for this local

printer.how can i print with ptr02 printer?

Hi Pabitra,

You can set the printer configuration in the spool using the transaction SP01.

Execute the spool request, select the required spool and change the printer name in the option 'Print with changes parameters' from the menu option spool request.
