Hi MMV,

Overhead Key is used to calculate the overhead in Product costing. It defines the percentage of the overhead to be set.

It is used and configured in the costing sheet.

Hi,

A key/group that enables you to calculate a percentage overhead rate for specific orders or materials. Percentages of overheads like prod overhead, sales overhead will be maintained in the CO customizing and will be linked to this key.

This is mandatory field in costing1 view in the material master records and this will be copied along with the variance key in the prod order if maintained in material master.

There will be huge problems during settlement process if this is not maintained in Material master and not copied to prod order.
