BI 4.2 SP5 promotion management doesn't show destination cms

Hi,

I am migrating content from BI4.1 to a new server BI 4.2 SP5. I can connect to CMC/launchpad on the new server . How ever, when I am trying to create a job to migrate content from 4.1 to 4.2 in 4.2 , I can go past the first step create job but when I add objects, the destination by default shows up as LCMBIAR File. Even when I change the destination to 4.2 CMS, it still goes back to LCMBIAR. I am not getting any error whatso ever.

I went ahead and export the content to BIAR file but when I try to import the content back from BIAR file to 4.2 the promotion management job still doesn't take the 4.2 environment CMS info.I can successfully enter the CMS system info and as soon as it authenticate, all I see is a blank destination.

Please advice.

Please provide screenshots to illustrate your issue.

Dennis, the issue got resolved when I entered domain qualified system name. Not sure why that's happening. Any idea?

As show in the first screen shot , I click to login to new cms for destination. I enter the cms credentials and when I click login in the final screen shot, you can see it shows "output to LCMBIAR". System doesn't show any error message.

Let me know your thoughts.
