Alternative RFC for RFC_READ_TABLE

Hi9 everybody,

I have to write a lookUp to get some table-entries. For this I used the RFC: RFC_READ_TABLE.

But RFC_READ_TABLE responses ALL columns of the requested table.

Due to performance reasons I am looking for another RFC that gives back predetermined columns.

Does anyboy know such a RFC?

Thanks regards

Mario

    Mario,

Using the RFC_READ_TABLE function module, it is possible to retrieve only the required columns. For that in the TABLE options, the FIELDS parameter has to be filled with the required column names. This will fetch only the required columns.
