Task Item Not getting Executed

Hi Experts,

I am working on MSS PCR's, when I trigger WF WS50000041(one level approval step)

The executable work item goes in Requester's manager WorkFlow Inbox, But when I try to execute it, it goes IN PROCESS.... do not give any message and dosen't get completed.

What could be the possible cause of error.
