Dear Experts,

Setup Information:

  • SAP MII 15.1 SP2
  • OEE MII 15.1 SP2
  • SAP Netweaver 7.5

Aim: Run Demo CTC Wizards and enable OEE Dashboards with demo data.

Problem: We are not able to see General Configuration Screen under "Worker UI Management".

Documentation Followed: https://help.sap.com/saphelp_pco151/helpdata/en/bb/99f65550c07b43e10000000a4450e5/content.htm

Issue Replication Steps:

1. We completed SAP OEE Demo Plant Master Data Setup CTC wizard in SAP MII 15.1 SP2 with the help of SAP OEE documentation. (As a prerequisite step, we successfully completed SAP OEE Netweaver Configuration CTC Wizard).

2. As a result of the CTC, schedulers were created successfully. and we got all messages processed in Queue Monitor.

3. Then, as per documentation we need to click on General Configuration. When we do that we can alert message as "Client and Plant are not available".

Log Viewer Details:

Because we are not able to see General configuration screen, we can not go ahead and do other configuration mentioned in document.

Please suggest any solution.

Best Regards,

Anshul Arora

Hi All,

To complete the CTC set up ,you should have roles of OEE_Integrator and OEE_Admin too.

After you have completed CTC set up.

Go to User Management.

In Identity Management, choose Configuration.

In the Configuration screen, choose the User Administrator UI tab page and choose Modify Configuration.

In the Administrator-Management Custom Attributes field, enter the following data SAPOEE:DEFAULT CLIENT; SAPOEE:DEFAULT PLANT; SAPOEE:DEFAULT WORKUNIT; SAPOEE:DEFAULT POD; SAPOEE:ERP PERSONNEL NUMBER.

Save your entries.

After you have created the default field, you can assign default site to a user as follows:

Log on to SAP NetWeaver as administrator user.

Navigate to Identity Management and select user that you want to assign default site to.

Choose Modify. On the Customized Information tab page, enter values for the following fields:

Default Client

Default Plant

Default Work Unit

Thanks,

Namita

Hi,

Please Maintain Default Client and Plant in User administration->Customized Information for the logged in User.

Also Ensure User has OEE_Administrator role.

Hi Anshul,

Have you checked and found the plant and client listed on the following screen?

ERP-Shop Floor integration for worker UI --> Supported Plants

If plant and client are shown and still you are getting the error then please try with below URL

http://<server>:<port>/OEEDashboard/UserGroupAssignment.jsp?client=OEE&plant=MODL or

http://<server>:<port>/OEEDashboard/OEEDashboard/WorkerUI.jsp?client=OEE&plant=MODL

(Client and plant could be different based on CTC such as 007 & DEMO)

Even if issue exists after following all steps as per documentation then give a try by restarting the instance.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and Regards

Dear Khaleel,

Thanks for your response.

1. We found the plant and client listed on the screen ERP-Shop Floor integration for worker UI --> Supported Plants.

2. We also tried urls and also clicked General Configuration link from SAP MII.

http://<server>:<port>/OEEDashboard/UserGroupAssignment.jsp?client=007&plant=DEMO (did not work)

http://<server>:<port>/OEEDashboard/OEEDashboard/WorkerUI.jsp?client=007&plant=DEMO ( is giving 404)

http://<server>:<port>/OEEDashboard/WorkerUI.jsp?client=007&plant=DEMO (did not work)

3. We restarted Netweaver but still same issue.
