I have raised the below in the ideas site, but wanted to see if anyone has found a way around it, considering the process, it will most likely be quite a while until this is addressed/responded.
"We have about 8-10 exchange rates in our system and although different regions use different currencies for their opportunities, the company processes are driven by one specific currency (based on value). Currently the system does not convert values within fields in an opportunity, just in reports.
So, for example, if I have a workflow that sends a notification to manager for all opportunities above $50,000 USD and a certain opportunity is $250K EUR, this workflow is not triggered (same with other rules) due to the fact that the system does not do the conversion in the background . This means that I have to create a workflow for each currency ( and mantain them due tot the change in rates) in order for this to work?
I would like to see a system that is smart enough to pull these exchange rates kept for all value fields ( or at least for the company specific currency) ."
