Error messages are not changed

Hi,

I am configuring the Opportunity in SAP CRM. I have changed the label of "Description" to "Project Name" in the opportunity. If I do not enter anything in web client GUI for Project Name, system is showing an error message "Description is required field", where as user cannot find this field on the screen because the label is changed to "Project Name". How can I change the error message also?

What is the exact version of your CRM system?

In 5.2 SP03, there are two error messages in case of a missing mandatory field

1- Make an entry in field 'my description'

2- Enter a description

So I have two error messages for the same problem

the first one contains the right custom label but the second one not.

Sounds more an OSS note than a development...

I am using SAP CRM 2007 (6.40 Final release)

I am getting only one error message for the Description filed.

If I change the label, it automatically picks the new label while displaying the error message in Accounts related transactions.

I am having only problem with Opportunity related transactions.
