Dear Team,

One of our clients using the HCM with ESS+MSS, Client is sending a morning mail to all the employees with motivational quotes through outlook.

In the same way send the birthday wishes to the entire employee.

For example Employee X birthday falls on 01st November 2016, and then from HR department send the email to all the employees copy to the birthdays employee.

Now client wants to forward this (motivational quotes & Birthday reminder) through SAP

Please suggest!

Thank you!

Regards,

Rakesh

Dear Rakesh Kumar,

You can do it by using SAP Workflow. Using Workflow it possible to sent Birthday Wishes to All employees on Birthday of any employee. For this need some help from SAP Workflow Consultant or Person who have knowledge in Workflow.

Logic:

1. Create Workflow for sending emails to employees.

2. Write logics for fetching date of birth of all employee and compare all with current date.

3. If satisfy's send Wishes Mail. Else leave.

You can schedule on background to run on everyday morning. Then Email will send.

Thanks,

Sivaraj Sadasivam.

Did you mean to post this as a SuccessFactors ESS question or are you talking about on-prem ESS? For on-prem, it would take custom development....and even then, I would question if it is worth it (ie. money spent) for what apparently already works well for them.
