hi gurus

in special g/l wht about busines area, some one told me, in the place business area we used the concept called segment in 6.0ecc. is it correct? pl explain

Dear Prasanthi,

It,s not special GL .........it,s New GL. Concept..........

Business Area Concept is used in SAP to get segment wise financial statements. The concept is One. Segment we used for new GL Concept (Document Splitting).

How far is it true..........that in future business area concept will be overide by Segment wise reporting.
