SAP HANA HISTORY TABLE CREATION USING HDBTABLE ( XS PROJECT)

Hi,

We need to create SAP HANA History table using hdbtable option via XS Project. Please sugegst how we can do the same, we are not finding any option to declare as History Table

Reason being creation it XS Project is , easy to trasnport in other landscape.

History tables are not supported by either hdbtable or CDS entity configuration syntax.

It's not supported to develop history tables as repository artefacts. Generally, I'd recommend not to use them at all.

It could have some restrictions for history table creating via XS Project.

You may try enable parameter "enable_history_table_import_export" in section

export/import from indexserver.ini. as of SPS11.

Sorry, that's not related to XS app development (repository objects) but simply refers to the IMPORT/EXPORT of history tables (the runtime objects). Since history tables cannot be exported from one system and imported to a different system, this feature is disabled by default.
