Hi,
In general we don't go for 2 XI systems.
Suppose the message flow is very high then we use the Internal adapter engine and we configure the central adapter engine and process some data through that central adapter engine, then performance is high.
In general we use 3 servers for Developing, Quality(testing) and Production. But we can't use the 2 XI servers at Production.

Hi,
If your qn is regarding 2 Xi porduction systems then the answer is a yes!!
Ususally implemenatations have 2 xi systems one in the internal n/w of the organization and the other one is usally in DMZ exposed to the external world traffic.
these 2 xi servers can be connected through xi adapter (proxy communication)
Cheers!!

Hi,
standard case is minimum of two XI systems (one for dev/test and one prd).
Or do you mean two productive systems?

Patrick
