Dear specialists,
Has anybody ever seen such kind of MM orders as APO-1? What does it mean? What does it need for?
I couldn't even find it on halp.sap.com
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,

Orders that are Planned by APO and are not yet in R3 System have the Numbers APO-xx (APO-1, APO-2, APO-3 ... etc.) and these are not a Permanent number but dynamically assigned when you go into Interactive Planning or RRP3 for Orders that are not yet Published into R3. So many Products can have the same number since it is dynamically generated.
When the Orders are Published and sent to R3 via Ques, R3 generates an Order Number which replaces the APO-xx number in APO.
From SCM 4.1 or 5.0 ... we have the option of configuring in APO an Internal Number Range for the PRs ... which gives the APO generated Orders and Internal Number that does not duplicate across Products, since it is no more Dynamically generated. It is replaced by a R3 order number when the order is succesfully sent to R3.
You can delete the APO-xx Orders via /sapapo/rlcdel transaction in APO. In this you need to select the 'APO Only' option in RLCDEL.
Hope this helps. Reward Points if it does.

You may come across such numbers for typically the forecast orders transferred from APO to R3 with some transfer profile. The other situation could be for general transaction data if the order numbers are not setup in SPRO in APO. This is a guess since I have not tested this scenario for sure. Make sure the order numbers are correctly defined with the counter somewhere inside the range. (under SCP>PPDS>Global Settings)

Hello,
thank you for your responce! Actuall we have already customized the ranges for SNP and PPDS orders and that's not the reason for APO-1,2,.. orders. From my point of view these are the numbers of orders created for temporary storing of orders when they are turning from Sales Order into Delivery.
