Hello!

"Export to File" from Table Data in debugger in Eclipse with ABAP Development Tools can only export a TXT-file.

No Excel-formats anymore?!

Thanks!

Vlad

Hi Vlad,

the exported content is just tab separated plain text, therefore we simply added .txt as default extension to the name proposal. However you can also open this file directly in Excel.

- Either start Excel and choose open file -> itab.txt -> Excel will guide you through some kind of import wizard where you can choose that the content is tab separated
- Or change the extension of the filename to .xls and double click -> Excel will tell you the content is corrupt/broken/dangerous but it will still open it as expected

Best regards,
Armin

Hi, Armin!

My fault, I expected a CSV or XLS(X) extension - the TXT-file opens flawlessly in Excel.

Thanks!
