Hi All,
I am not able to see the SAP xMII 12.0 on the start menu what could be the possile reasons for that .Unless i am able to have MII 12.0 in start menus it is not possible to view publish assistant.
Please guide
Best Regards
Namita
Namita,
No, is not a installation problem, because SAP MII 12 doesn't create any Shortcuts into
Start -> Programs. The only Shortcuts that will create is the SAP MII Productivity Wizards.
SAP MII 12 save all Transaction, Queries, Webpages in the DB. So you can't browse with
the Explorer to the Transaction Folder like in SAP MII 11.5.
I had few questions:
+ Did you install the SAP MII Productivity Wizards?
+ Which SAP MII Version you have installed?
+ Did you try to call the SAP MII with the link that I mention in my last message?
Regards
Pedro

Namita,
no problem. I only like to understand your problem. Please remember, that any changes that you make through the
Explorer will lost, when you restart the SAP MII Server. So the best is only change from the Workbench.
As I mention before, all Queries, Display, Transactions and Webpages are stored in the SAP MII Database.

Namita,
I read that you have installed Version 12.0, but what Version of 12.0 (12.0.3 Build(107) or 12.0.2 Build(88))
do you have? What shortcut do you have in your Startmenu? Because normally SAP MII doesnt create a
shortcut. Transactions and Transactiton Folder are saved in the Database of SAP MII. Why you will browse
from the explorer into the Transaction Folder?
Regards.

Hi Pedro ,
I am using 12.0.3 Build(107)
No I dont want to browse to transactions and query templates through program menu .
Since I was encountering some problem i was trying to find out where query templates and transactions get store
I am able to browse through the link where my web pages are stored but not where query templates and transactions are getting stored .
And being new to MII 12.0 I was not sure about the presence of MII in start menu

Namita,
SAP MII Productivity Wizards needs to download from the SDN Downloads -> for Manufacturing -> xMII 12.0 Sample Projects and Tools.
SAP MII Productivity Wizards is not longer part of the SAP MII System installation.
SAP MII Portal can be call/open over the IE with this link:
http://<SAPMIISERVERNAME>:<Port>/XMII
Hope this will help you.
Regards
Pedro
