Empties Management

Hi All

I have a requirement from my client to activate the empties management solution for their gas bottles.

I have switched-on the EA-CP Component under Enterprise Extensions. I also activated Empties Management on on the SPRO under purchasing.

I went on and assigned the material type to the correct grouping for material number ranges. Now when I create a PO, I do not see anything that suggest that the material is for empties management (full/empty) or anything like that. What is it that is missing from my side to complete this requirement.

Hi Jurgen

I tried that but the field Struct.Category (/BEV1/NESTRUCCAT) does not get shown on the screen.

The only field shown is Lab/Office (LABOR) and the moment I make Field Selection Group 10 for Field Ref "VERP". The field Lab/Office becomes a required field and when I click on save, the system throws an error message that I must maintain the field Struct.Category which is nowhere to be found on the material views.

How can I ensure that this field is part of the fields on the material view?

Thank you for your prompt response.

Yes, I have done the pre-requisite already but what I do not seem to find or figure is the field for the structure category S in the material master on the SPRO/Logistics - General/Material Master. I suspect that the field is hiden on the material master and wanted to activate it but not sure as to where is it sitting on the material views.
