I have a client that so far had their financial year (consolidation in BPC 10.1 standard) running from November to October. They now need to change this to Jan to Dec which they want to do by having a short financial year for Nov 18 and Dec 18.
Technically as such I know this is not a problem in BPC but I have an issue with the TIME dimension. Currently we have Nov 2017 to Oct 2018 set up as the year 2018 in BPC (seeing that the majority of the months is in the calendar year 2018).
We would also like to have the new financial year 2019 as the calendar year 2019. However this would mean we would have to add a year in between 2018 and 2019 in BPC. Is that possible? Could we add a year 2018_1 or 2018B or similar?
