Inserting Benchmark Values into Cross Table

I am having a problem I believe with context. I am trying to insert benchmark values for a dimension into a cross table. The benchmark value is stored in the universe as "tier measure value" and is linked to the dimension "tier measure name". Each tier measure name has two tier values. However, there is another object which stores the monthly trended performance as dimension called "trended measure name" and linked to "trended measure value". I created two variables called Tier Value 1 and Tier Value 2. Tier value 1 is the min [tier measure value] foreach [tier measure name]. Tier value 2 is max [tier measure value] foreach [tier measure name]. Never mind the format in here they work in my report.

The problem I am having is that trying to get the variables to display correctly when pulled in to a cross table using trended measure name. The trended measure names are the same as tier measure names however I am only getting the min and max values for all tier measure names when using trended measure name in the cross table.

Sounds like you need to add a context to your Tier variables something like

=min([Tier measure value] in ([Org Name];[Trended Measure Name])

MIght not be quite right, but what you're trying to do is get the measure to aggregate by both Dimensions in crosstab?
