how the data flow from fi and ther module to the profit center. Where is the intergration point in profit center a/c.

Hi,

Which Version U r using in 6 version U can active the new GL and create profit Center in FI.

select the Field Status required for profit Center in OBC4.

Assign the profit Center in Cost Center for the Cost and define Revenues

In OKB9 and 3KEH assign the Cost Center and Revenue,

Assign the GL accounts of Balance sheet items in 3KEH.

Dear Prasanthi,

Profit center posting purely a statistical.that is in controlling.

Data flow from FI to Profit center through revenue element or cost element.

cost center is assign to a profit center.

when we post a transaction in FI suppose an sales related document the sales GL line item must have a field like cost center and profit center. So that data directly comes to the profit center.

Hi,

The data flow from FI or any other module is not a direct flow, data flow from FI or any other module to PC is a static.

Integration point of data flow from FI or any other module to PC is cost center or Internal orders, or any cost object. We assign PC to these cost object thru which data comes in PC.

Hope these clarifies your doubt.
