planning DRP or BCP for JAVA based systems

Hello gurus,

I would like to acquire some information on BCP / DRP (Disaster Recovery planning) for systems that

based on JAVA (EP, XI, BI end etc). The regular DRP for ECC we use log shipping of SQL server.

But on JAVA systems there are local files too that are changed ... so ... how do we copy and what exactly ...

We use: windows 2003, sql 2000 and some systems on sql 2005.

Any information will be appreciated,

Hi Dimitry,

You should contact your hardware vendor who is providing existing data centre services for your landscape. As your system is on Windows try searching for Microsoft Cluster Services.

Dear Sean,

thanks for the advice but I'm looking forward to find a solution on application level like log shipping and etc. I'm trying to understand what physical files should I transfer to the DRP site of the J2EE engine.

anyone ?
