How to use measure-based colors in Lumira 2.0

The user guide states that "Some charts, such as heat maps, tree maps, tag clouds, geo maps, and geographic choropleth charts, can display measure-based colors."

However, when I try to use it, all the dimensions come out the same color. I have tried several different datasets.

The Cusomize Measure Palette is of no help. When I try to change the thresholds, I am told that "Threshold is not valid"

How do I use this feature?

I haven't been able to update to 2.1.

Is this the correct address to do so: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/softwarecenter ?

I guess I don't have the rights to upgrade if that is the case, so I just wanted to confirm that that is the right location, before I involve IT.
