Hi People,
Can anyone please provide me some information about, how does RF scanner communicates with SAP console. Is there any coding in SAP, which is supposed to be done for that to happen.
If so, any sample codes available?
Thanks
Puneet
Hi Puneet ,
Client terminals ( RFscanner) connect through a standard RF access point to a dedicated WindowsNT/2000 server running both SAPConsole and Telnet protocol. Each client has a unique log-in ID that is established in SAP R/3 , which can be maintained via RF once it has been established.
Thanks,
Syed Quadri.

If you use symbol scanner. The laser bean will not respond unless you download the symbol mdk. We had to developed some code in java to capture the red bean and pass it to the SAP webconsole. The webconsole with the internet explorer will not work.
