Partial results in Webi LOV in filter- BO 4.2

Hi guys

The object used in LOV is over a million rows so if I change the properties in Webi processing server to retrieve more 1 million rows, its going to have performance impacts ...Is there a solution for the end users to get the right results when they search on a particular object? Currently when they search for something in the LOV, they don't get results although the value exists in the database...

have you tried with checked the checkbox "Allow users to search values in the database" in the business layer object property->advanced tab? After that add the prompt in webi query and see.

Allow users to search values in the database: If selected, the user running a query using this list of values can search for a value in the database. This option is useful when the user performs a search on partial list of values results.
