I want Details in

Item Master Data

2. EAN code.

3.In general menu what is the difference between

1.service.

2. Material.

4. How many characters are entered in in details menu.

5.WT Liable.

Hi,

1. In Item Master Desc in Foriegn Language - Enter a description of the item in a foreign language. You can copy this name to documents for business partners that use other languages. or You can enter any other relevant data in this field.

2. EAN Code - Enter the International Article Number (EAN) or the bar code of the item. SAP Business One supports the EAN 13 and Code 39 formats. However, it is possible to print any other type of barcode.

3. In General Tab - Service --> To define new Service Categories for service items. You cannot remove a service category that is used (defined?) in Item Master Data.

4. In General tab - Material --> Choose a type from the predefined list.

5. W T Liable - Select to define this item as liable to withholding tax in document lines of sales and purchasing documents.

6. We can enter 64000 characters in Remarks field.
