Reason code for movement type

Dear All,

I have a requirement that i have to create reason code for the movement type 553.

In OMJJ when i am creating a reason code, it allow only for numeric code (0001 - damage, 0002 - Crack etc.,) , but i want in alpha numeric.

Ex.

Reason code :

DA - Damage

CR - Crack

UN - Uneven surface .,

Kindly guide me.

    It's not possible in Std SAP.

    You can use:

    0001 :DA - Damage

    0002 : CR - Crack

    0003 : UN - Uneven surface .,

    The filed "GRUND" in Data element "MB_GRBEW".

    and the Data Type is defined as "NUMC" Character string with only digits..

    We can not change that...

    Hi

    Reason code can be only pneumaric as for that field data type is pneumaric
