How to install Business package in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial

DRAFT:

1.) Can you run the ESS Business package in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial?

2.) Which package should I use? Business Package for Employee Self-Service (mySAP ERP 2004)", version 60.1 or "Business Package for Employee Self-Service (mySAP ERP)", version 1.0 ?

3.) How can I get download permission?

DETAILS:

I am a newbie to SAP and want to learn how to use the ESS and MSS in SAP.

Therefore I installed SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial. I always choose the default.

After logging in to the portal as Administrator, I detected that the entry "Employee Self Services" under

Content Administration --> Portal Content --> Content Provided by SAP --> End User Content

is not there.

So I tried to download "Business Package for Employee Self-Service (mySAP ERP 2004)", version 60.1.

The file "BPERP4ESS0_0-10003146.zip" was put into my download basket. The approval list is empty there and it reads that the download is ready.

I started the SAP download manager and clicked on "Download all objects"

in the menu. An error message appears: "the request failed: 400" and it retries endlessly. Usually HTTP Error 400 is being caused by a malformed request by your computer to the web server. I looked up the object protocol and found the URL that cause the error. I pasted this URL "https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~swdc/002007974700000167412004D/BPERP4ESS0_0-10003146.zip?_ACTION=DL_DIRECT" manually into the browser and got an error message "No download authorization".

Error Message - No download authorization

Error code: SAPSMPDL2A-20080516094832-0003

Error details: 10021DD9-702/1A053/3162-63F0CFA5-3CB9265-2992F9

Service Name: SAPIDB

Service Server: SAPSMPDL2A

Process-ID: 5932

Thread-ID: 4332

I also get this error when I directly click the zip-file (link) from the webpage in the download basket.

So what can I do, what are the next steps to get the ESS and MSS scenarios installed?
