Hi,
I have carried out the following settings on the ECC side as well as the CRM side, but I am unable to see any check or warning symbol, and the schedule line shows today's date for delivery. I dont think the availablity check is happening, even though these settings have been done. Could someone help?
The folowing are the settings which we have made on the ECC Side.
3.1.1.1 Activating Availability Check from CRM
Use
In SAP ECC you have to activate the functionality for the Availability Check Using SAP ECC.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation option:
SAP ECC
Transaction code FIBF
2. Choose Settings ® Identification ® SAP applications.
3. Select application CRMATP.
4. Set indicator for this application to Active
5. Save your entries.
3.1.1.2 Defining Events for Availability Check
Use
In SAP ECC you have to define the events that trigger the data exchange required for the availability check.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation option:
SAP ECC
Transaction code FIBF
2. Choose Settings ® P/S modules ® of an SAP appl.
3. Create the following entries in case they are not already available.
4. Select New Entries.
5. Create the following table entry.
Event Ctr. Appl. function module
01000820 BC-MID SD_CRM_GET_DOC_SCENERIO
01000821 BC-MID VBAK_LOGSYSB_GET
6. Save your entries.
3.1.1.3 Assigning Process Function Modules
Use
In SAP ECC you have to define the process function modules for the availability check.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation option:
SAP ECC
Transaction code FIBF
2. Choose Settings ® Process modules ® of SAP appli.
3. Create the following entries in case they are not already available.
4. Choose New Entries.
5. Create the following table entry.
Event Ctr. Appl. Function module
01000820 CRMATP PERS_ENQ_ATP_ENTRIES_SELECT
01000821 CRMATP PERS_ENQ_ATP_ENTRIES_INSERT
6. Save your entries.
In the CRM side the Following are the settings we have made
3.1.2 CRM Configuration
3.1.2.1 Setting Up Middleware Parameters
Use
In addition to the RFC connections, some parameter settings are necessary to specify the communication between the SAP CRM system and the SAP ECC system. Therefore you have to implement a new entry in table SMOFPARSFA that specifies the ECC system to which the availability request is supposed to be addressed.
Prerequisites
The connectivity to your ECC system must have been set up.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:
Transaction code SPRO
SAP CRM IMG menu CRM  Basic Functions ® Availability Check ® Availability Check Using SAP ECC ® Define Middleware Parameters: Availability Check Using SAP ECC
2. Select New Entries.
3. Create the following table entry.
Field name User action and values Comment
Key R3A_COMMON
Parameter 1 CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION
Parameter 2 CRM_R3MATERIAL_AVAIL
Name
RFC destination RFC destination for the ECC system
Control information X=R/3<x.yz> <x.yz> stands for the SAP ECC release, e.g. 6.00 for SAP ECC 6.0
If you omit the X in the Control Information field, SAP ECC is not activated
4. Save your entries.
Although a transport request is provided for this activity it is not recommended to transport this entry because it contains a RFC destination that is different in the target system.
3.1.2.2 Define ATP Profile
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:
Transaction code SPRO
SAP CRM IMG menu CRM  Basic Functions ® Availability Check ® Availability Check Using SAP ECC ® Define ATP Profile
2. Make a new entry with the following data:
Field name User action and values
ATP Prof. 200
Description Availability Check in the SAP ECC System
3. Save your entries.
3.1.2.3 Assigning ATP Profile to Item Category
Use
To call the availability information by the CRM Online Application and then carry it out in the SAP ECC system, you have to leave the field for the ATP profile assignment empty.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:
Transaction code SPRO
SAP CRM IMG menu CRM  Basic Functions  Availability Check  Availability Check Using SAP ECC  Assign ATP Profile to Item Category
2. Select the required item category for the ATP check in SAP ECC system.
The availability check can be activated for the following SAP Best Practices scenarios:
Scenario Transaction Type Item Category
Quotation and Order Management YTA YTAN
Quotation and Order Management YAG YAGN
Sales Order Processing B2B in CRM E-Commerce ISBB TAN
Sales Order Processing B2C in CRM E-Commerce ISCC TAN
3. Choose Detail.
4. Enter or check the following data
Field name User action and values
ATP Prof. 200 Availability Check in SAP ECC System
5. Change your data if required.
6. Save your entries.
Now even though i get the right item category on the screen, the ATP Check does not take place.
